Intuitive signs or messages that help guide you on your Soul Mission

intuition

Beginning to learn to live, intuitively, is a big part of uncovering your Soul Mission as a Light-bearer in the world.  Partly to receive intuitive messages from the universe which can help to guide you on your journey of discovery.  But how do we receive that information or message?  Well, here are a number of signs that you can receive along the way, which may serve as a warning or encouragement, or lead you to information you need…

Repeated words of others

‘Angels can speak to us through the words of friends and loved ones’ was a quote I remember reading a very long time ago and I believe it to be true these days. One way we can receive messages from our guides to help us is through the words of others.  If you're not getting the message, then keep repeating it through different people!  Loved ones, your friends, your colleagues, strangers and so on.  So if you're getting the same message over and over, know you're receiving guidance i.e:  ‘Wow, you should be a writer!  This is so good!’...  ‘Sounds like deep down, you're ready to move on?’...  ‘Listen, try to be kind to yourself right now’ - you get my drift.

We can receive messages in the form of words that do not come through direct conversation either.  For example; you may see the same word repeated in adverts on the side of a bus or in a magazine that just jumps out at you. Or you have the radio on in the background and again a word, or phrase leaps out at you from a song or interview.  You'll know because it's like a tuning fork, it strikes a tone in you that resonates.  You stop and notice as it strikes as it will stand out to you. It's because you're being spoken to.

Rule of 3 and Angel numbers

For me, there is also a magic that comes with the number 3.  I may hear the message the first time and think of it as an interesting idea.  The second person says it and I think oh okay, that's curious I'm hearing that again.  If it happens a third time, it strikes like a gong and I know for sure I'm being told to listen, it's not a coincidence.  (These days I’m usually quicker to pick up on the message on the first or second time!)

But we all have our own numbers that have meaning.  Angel numbers, are something I see very often, if I am on the right track.  This is a repeating pattern of numbers like 1111 or 2121 and so on. Usually I see them on a clock, and again, it will have a striking resonance to it when I notice the number.  It feels meaningful, almost like I get the tingles.  Are you still look up the meaning of the numbers? - I tend not to now as I just know that for me it's a good sign from my angelic team that I'm on track with what I'm doing, or how I am setting my intention in that moment which makes me smile and feel warm - we all need encouragement!

Natures messengers

Nature is not only a foundational nourishing support for us on our journey, but is also a great messenger for us. The spirit realm can communicate with our animal familiars to visit us to relay a message in the form of a feeling or a symbol. I'll give you an extraordinary example.  I once sat stubbornly in the dining room with the patio doors open and called out to the universe in a desperate and depressive existential funk; ‘if there is a greater intelligence in this world, then prove it to me!  But I'm not moving’.  Within less than five minutes two beautiful swallows flew into the room, hovering, looking at me, and then swooped out again.

Now your moments may not be quite so dramatic, but hopefully you get the point. Animals can be asked to visit us as they symbolise a strength we are being reminded of.  The spirit of the wind carries messages for us.  You can feel it in your bones as it happens, something within us stirs, we fall still within and listen, knowing we are being whispered to.  We take a walk and get the chills as we pass a certain tree, a living symbol - of embodied ancient knowledge, its essence reaching out and stirring us, in a wordless wisdom.  This is the spirit of nature speaking to us, connecting to us with a silent felt message.

Signs and Symbols

Sometimes, if we have a decision to make that is mulling over in our minds we can receive messages or answers from our subconscious or guides in the form of symbols.  It can be as simple as seeing an X repeatedly which jumps out in your mind.  Almost like it's lit up in red - on a sign, in the newspaper or an ad at the bus stop, which to you may indicate go, no further or no.  Symbols are both a universal link to the collective unconscious, but are also deeply personal.  What is symbolically unlucky for one person may feel lucky for another for example.

Receiving a message is all about repetition and the feeling that it strikes us with. For you that feeling, maybe that it feels like it almost jumps or leaps out at you, that it gives you the tingles, or it makes you pause when you’re rushing and you notice it.  A sign comes in the form of a feeling - for you, that is assigned to it, and  your subconscious jolts you in some form.

I will give you some of my personal examples: white feathers dropping down on me symbolise the presence of angels.   Seeing three crows repeatedly with a particular ‘tone’ around their field, means an ending is coming.   An illness can be a symbolic message to listen - sudden back pain (feeling unsupported), losing my voice (not feeling heard), pounding headache (holding in frustration) and so on. The body is a fantastic symbolic messenger to our emotions that need addressing or our deeper needs!

Channelling ideas or thoughts

Messages can come to us in the form of ideas.  I did some channelled guidance for a client in a Soul Mission session recently, and I said, I feel like my head is on fire, like there's all this energy here that's trying to come out.  Then they immediately confessed; ‘Yeah, I feel fired up with creativity and want to write, but I keep stopping myself.  I keep thinking I've just got to write but I’m not doing it’.

Sometimes the answers are literally in our heads or hearts, but we are not acting on them or we are blocking ourselves.  It may not be the ‘full picture answer’ we are asking for, but it might be the next step to lead us there i.e - a creative outlet to let ideas flow, a workshop idea to try out, or new format / approach in your work you want to try out but feel too scared to, but when we follow it, this can lead us to the next piece of the puzzle.  They are guiding you already, gifting you with ideas, dropping thoughts, words or images into your mind, or inclinations - we just have to listen and act, rather than dismiss or ignore it.

Intuitive nudges, hits and hunches

Intuitive nudges, or hunches are your way of being guided to what is needed next or what will help you, but we have to learn to listen, to become aware of them and follow them.  These nudges can be on a spectrum - from a subtle knowing to a strong gut feeling.  These feelings can be directing us to useful knowledge, tools and connections or even giving us a warning to avoid certain people or situations.

For example, you’re walking in town and you just have a feeling to take a different route home, so you do and on the way you bump into an old high school friend unexpectedly, who later subsequently introduces you to your now spouse... You just have a hunch, and you don't know why, about an article to write or a product to create that feels completely left field, but you follow it anyway and it actually takes off becoming a new business... You’re feeling down and you just have the thought to reach out to an old colleague to touch base and they recommend a book to you, which ends up being life changing for you… and so on!

If we allow our intuitive intelligence to become a trusted friend and ally, which can come with time, faith and practice, it really will support us to experience our best life.  As well as enabling us to uncover our Calling for this lifetime, one intuitive nudge at a time.
